Project Description:

We moved into a newly constructed house with very modern styling. The house is significantly larger than our previous and has a large living and dining area in a large open plan format. We are looking for conceptual help with the large living space, we have a couch and a chair, an interesting side table and a rug that work well together, but we are not wedded to anything and equally look for suggestions on how best to revamp or with with what we have. We love modern styling and will try to run that theme through the house. That said we need to make the living spaces homely and livable. Modloft has been a go to for our furniture in the bedroom but my wife is concerned we will become too grey/concrete focused. We love color and are open to good and interesting ideas even if they are a little crazy.

room gets lots of natural light (most of the walls are windows or glass doors), the natural wood color with the light olive walls would provide a contrast to some bright colors with furniture, but that I'll leave to the experts

For your main color, you chose to stay with your original neutral color with green accents it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. Light colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.
