For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish

This room will be primarily used as my home office, but secondarily as a guest bedroom. Thus, I would like to be able to fit both a desk (which needs to fit two large monitors), as well as some type of queen / full guest bed. If possible, I do have two existing chairs that could be incorporated into the room, but is not a must. I have attached photos of each below. I have selected a more "neutral" feel for this room, however I would say I am open to something that blends both neutral and feminine. I want the room the feel airy and light, not heavy or dark. I generally favor neutrals, but am open to light /dark greens, light / navy blues. I do not favor reds, yellows, purples.
What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?:
I do have two accent chairs that I am open to incorporating one of into the room as a place to sit and read, but neither is a must. I defer to the designer here. One is the Lucas Swivel Chair in Gravel Twill from West Elm. The other is the Eames Rocking Shell Chair in White. I have uploaded stock photos of each for reference.
I also have two framed Slim Aaron photos and another photo from a UK artist, Clive Sawyer, that I am open to incorporating. I would not want to use all three, but would consider including 1 or 2. Photos attached below.

Please note the room is the "primary suite" on the upper level when viewing the floor plan. I entered a $1K - $5K budget, but have a bit of flexibility on the top end if need, but ideally would like to stay at or below $5K.
I will also add that ideally I am looking for the position of the desk to be in such a way that when I video conference, I have the option to create an angle whereby you cannot fully see the bed. One solution I saw online that grabbed my eye was the West Elm parsons L shaped desk - which offers some storage, and multiple working angles. I also will note that the West Elm Andes Deco bed in mineral grey also jumped out to me. Do not need to use this actual bed, but hopefully provides some context.
Lastly, I will just note that I generally skew towards a more modern aesthetic with some traditional pieces mixed in. I like clean, simple, lines, and an uncluttered space. I generally like mixing materials (wood, metal, molded plastic etc.), so am not married to just one. My hope for this room is to be light, airy, and welcoming. A functional workspace for me, but also a place that we can easily and comfortably accommodate an overnight guest. Lastly, please note that the motorized blinds do convey with the property and we would like to keep these.

For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
