I don’t like the bed, I don’t like the plantation shutters. I don’t like that it doesn’t feel cohesive, warm and complete.

I want to keep the large dresser and the side tables. Possibly changing out the small side table to the left of the bed, and replace it with a matching one (they are from RH). Everything else can be changed/added.

Hello,
I am looking to paint, remove plantation shutters, tv, overhead fan, and replace with Roman shades, drapes, light fixture, and art. I would like a new bed, rug, lamps, possible floor lamp, seating, and bedding. We do need privacy over the two small windows beside the bed, so the shades would need to be workable and look nice when down. The other large windows don’t need much privacy, I like the look of layered shades and drapes there. The floor is very dark wide plank wood, I would like possibly a green or another color for the walls but am thinking a lighter neutral would be better. I do love all kinds of art. The height of the large dresser, I wasn’t sure what to put on top as far as art to replace the tv because it’s a weird height. The art would be a bit above where I would normally hang.
I really like a layered look and mixed woods. I love beautiful lighting as well. Thank you so much for the help.
