Kitchen Remodel

We remodeled our kitchen. The bones are done but it's too white. I need some help figuring out how to add the finishing touches - we aren't sure if we need paint/a barn door/add beams to ceiling, etc. We also need help with the lighting and the dining area. We need someone to help us finalize our remodel!
As for the cost, I was thinking we'd need to spend around $5k for the decor and then of course an additional amount for the construction costs (e.g., if we do beamed ceilings) but I may be off in my estimates and that number is somewhat flexible.

The room feels unfinished. It's too white because of the vaulted ceilings. I need to add some things - lighting, paint, a barn door, beamed ceilings, shelving in the eating area and/or decor on the counters/walls (probably a mixture of some of these things) to finish it off but I'm not sure which direction to go.
What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?:
Backsplash, cabinets, flooring, etc. We remodeled the kitchen so the bones are there but I need help "finishing" it.
We also would like to keep the four chairs at the bar and the dining table in the kitchen.
I'd consider keeping the lights above the stove because the are so pretty but it seems to me like it's a wrong fit for that space so I'm not sure if we can "save" them.

The client isn't sure what to add to the kitchen to finish it. She followed Pinterest to recreate a kitchen, but did not realize that usually white kitchens do not have the same ceiling challanges that her space does. The client isn't sure what the space needs to be finished. The client thinks this project may need some combination of new lighting, darker gray paint in the kitchen, perhaps beamed and/or bead-boarded ceilings, shelving or a barn door in the kitchen, decor/finishes on the counters, clocks on the walls, new kitchen chairs (in the dining area), etc.

For your main color, we chose to use gray because it is neutral and seen as elegant and classy. It compliments many colors such as white, blue, and yellow and works well as part of a color scheme in any room.
Use a matte finish paint because it will be helpful in camouflaging those surface imperfections such as bumps and cracks as it does not reflect light. Just be careful because matte finish is more difficult to clean. You may also need to touch up scratches or marks by adding more of the same paint in the future.
