For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.
Walls
Use an eggshell finish paint, which has a subtle sheen resembling the texture of an eggshell, as implied by its name. This finish is commonly used for walls due to its durability and ease of cleaning compared to a matte finish.
Ceiling
Opt for a matte finish paint for the ceiling. This finish is excellent for hiding surface imperfections like bumps and cracks since it does not reflect light. However, note that matte finishes are more challenging to clean and may require touch-ups for scratches or marks over time.
Baseboards, Crown Molding, Door Casing

Many of the details, such as light fixtures and hardware in the home are gold. We would like to pull these into an Old World style and move away from a contemporary modern glam style frequently seen with gold accents.
Additionally, modern mediterranean tends to involve a lot black, white, and green. We would also like to avoid this, and instead have rich warm colors and textures in a more muted palette.
