The built in was just recently done. The color is SW Dovetail and it has brass hardware. We thought this frog picture was really fun and unexpected but fitting for a space the kids work in as well as us parents. We would love to make the art work in the room and are open to framing it etc. IF THE ARTWORK DOES NOT WORK IN THE SPACE IT IS NOT NECESSARY. We just thought it would be a fun pop. We like the room to be contemporary/transitional with a little pop of personality

I attached a couple pics of our house as we would like it to flow with the other rooms. The house is a work in progress as we’ve been slowly renovating and filling rooms. Our style is more contemporary but the home is very traditional with moldings etc. We would like a table that can be multi functional. The built in desks are taken with computers so we need the table to do homework or for my husband to set up and work from home when needed or for me to sit and work with my laptop, or the kids to sit at and color with a friend or spread out projects etc. we would like a 2 chairs (preferably rolling for the built in desks and a chair or more (rolling or not?)for for the new desk/table. We don't like lots of different pieces in a room and do not need more shelves or really any more storage as the unit has it all tucked neatly behind doors. I am not a fan of lots of little pieces all over the walls like a gallery of pin boards etc. or things that look like clutter. We were debating painting the room BM Classic Gray like the family room and kitchen maybe paint it dovetail like the built in but thought that may feel too dark. Open to colors as we don’t want to limit design but it needs to flow/feel like the rest of our house.
