Spanish Revival Interior Design Inspiration
The client’s inspirational images made their vision for a Spanish Revival interior with eclectic décor clear. It was to be bold and playful yet well-balanced. Warm jewel tones, rich fabrics, and sophisticated pieces feature prominently throughout their examples. However, the spaces felt more inviting and comfy than glamorous. All in all, the client’s desire for a one-of-a-kind space was obvious.
Moodboard & Spanish Revival Living Room Design
The online interior design process was off to a good and speedy start since the client felt confident about what they enjoyed. They took a quick online quiz, created a design brief, and then had a virtual meeting with Decorilla. During the discussion, the team gathered more information. Afterward, the collective details helped to identify the two best interior designers for the job.
Each designer proceeded to create a custom moodboard, reflecting the client’s wishes. Once complete, the client had to decide which was their favorite. Although it was a tough choice since both were beautiful, they ultimately picked Drew F.’s Spanish Revival interior design concept. The eclectic elements and sophisticated yet fun jewel color scheme were a hit!
Spanish Revival Interior Design Results
Overall, the project was a great success. The home’s Spanish Revival interior now consists of spaces that embrace striking colors, patterns, and textures. And yet these distinct finishes and accents remain well-balanced throughout. Eclectic designs can feel overwhelming, but here every room is perfectly harmonious. It’s due to the fine attention to detail, carefully curated pieces and clear focal points.
Lush & Rich-Toned Living Room
Golden accents, cool blues, and indoor plants make this Spanish Revival living room feel straight from the Ibizan coast. The textured walls boast a shade reminiscent of the sky and sea. It certainly provides a calming air and the matte finish hides imperfections. The wood flooring and console have a warming effect, allowing the deep-toned furniture to pop. As for the fresh, white ceiling: it complements the signature curved architecture.
An azure sectional is a focal point since its rich hue is so eye-catching. The geometric area rug below anchors it and two monochrome abstract-patterned armchairs. Another conversation piece within the room is the sculpted coffee table, which is practical and appealing. Finally, black and white fireplace tiles go particularly well with the bull artwork above it, and the armchairs.
Blush Pink Bedroom
Dusty blush paint graces the Spanish Revival interior design bedroom walls and sets a feminine tone. It also makes the compact space feel warm and cozy. Golden accents appear again through pieces like the mirror frame and bedside table lamps. These items also add an air of luxury to an artsy room. A chic desk, chair, and lamp give the space a dual purpose.
A soft pink zebra print area rug centers the room and draws the eyes toward the flowing drapes and patio doors. The bed’s crisp white linen matches the curtains and ensures the scatter cushions stand out. Both nightstands and dresser offer ample storage in addition to the built-in closet, with its sleek dark wood and frosted glass sliding doors.
Uplifting Dining Room
Once inside the dining room, it’s like basking in a warm glow thanks to the golden wall color and accents. The matte finish gives a vintage feeling, which suits the Spanish Revival interior design perfectly. This time around, a whimsical area rug and modern chandelier center the space and anchor the furniture. In addition, a vase of flowers and an indoor plant in the corner bring freshness.
Six modern dining chairs featuring powder blue velvet upholstery and golden legs surround the oval wood table. The organic nature of the table and luxurious accents of the chairs make a well-balanced combo. Off to the side of the room stand two curved, black metallic display cupboards. They’re a fine addition to the Spanish-style dining room and make it feel more sophisticated.
