Describe your go-to style:
My style is mostly a transitional timelessness where over time, I might grow tired of a piece of art, rug or accessory, but I don't have to change major pieces like a sofa or bed or dining table to achieve a different feel. I enjoy neutrals with warmer or cooler accent tones of color. I love mixing materials (leather, fabric, metal, stone and glass).
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
My favorite component of design is knowing I was able to achieve a style that takes both my client and myself out of our comfort zones. It's very easy to copy a look in a popular publication or TV show, but it's pure gold for me to take it one step further by putting our OWN stamp on it.
What drives you to design?
I love seeing an item of inspiration, which could literally be anything, and designing around it. I love an old house with all of its quirks and breathing new life into it, but then I also love a new house and making it feel like anyone would feel comfortable in it, almost as if folks have been going to that house for years to feel at home.
