Outside of her professional endeavors, Lauren is a dedicated member of the Junior League and holds professional memberships with the Texas and Carolinas ASID chapters. What drives you to design?
I have had a passion to design ever since I was a child. I grew up in the design industry and was fortunate enough to work for some of the top interior designers when I was in high school. I would work for designer showhomes, file fabrics in their resource libraries, and even got to go on some site visits. It was a dream! The way my clients feel after the project is complete, and knowing that I am helping them to improve their quality of living through design, drives me the most!
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
I love to travel, and have been all over the world! I with each city, I have left with a little bit of inspiration and carry that through my projects.
Describe your favorite project:
I recently completed a new construction project in Kiawah Island South Carolina. It was directly on the beach and such a fun project! We did everything from selecting interior and exterior finishes to all of the furnishings and accessories. It was such a joy being able to be there from the very start to the very end!
