Nikki Z.
Nikki had a love for design from an early age, always drawing in her sketchbook. She turned this passion into a career by studying product design, and later interior design. Her 8 years of experience working on domestic and international projects, means she has a wealth of knowledge on design schemes. Her keen eye for coming up with strong concepts means that every room tells a story. She also has a practical side, which helps her find clever solutions to tricky spaces.
What’s your prediction for the next big trend in design?
The next big design trends will be a combination of natural textures such as cowhide, brassy hardware, and contemporary furniture with mid-century elements.
Tell us your biggest design secret:
My biggest design secret is to use a punch of colour: if you're afraid of colour, keep most of the space neutral, and try a punch of colour which is really bold on a sofa or wall, it usually brings a room to life.
                                                                                                                                                                        What drives you to design?
I love reviving neglected spaces and get much reward from working with people to bring their dreams to life.
